Bowland Forestry - Tree Surgery Operations.

<<<
Bowland Forestry undertake tree surgery operations in a wide variety of different situations.  Tree removal and husbandry in urban areas is a highly specialised and demanding environment for our trained and experienced teams.
Working to all relevant Britsh Standards and Health & Safety Executive guidelines Bowland Forestry have a proven track record in this area of operations.
Insurance liability to third parties (a legal requirement) of £5 million is in place for complete peace of mind.
We welcome any inspection and, in fact, encourage prospective clients and customers to request proof of cover from all potential operators that they may consider using.

Sectional Dismantling

<<<

We are experienced in aerial and sectional dismantling of trees.  Using the latest equipment and techniques, we can completely remove, with minimal disruption and inconvenience, even the largest of trees.  We also offer a stump grinding service to remove the stump to a predetermined  depth below ground level.

Business clients or domestic customers are catered for and an initial inspection and estimate will cost only the price of a telephone call.

Dangerous tree condition

<<<

Bowland Forestry offer a comprehensive advice service; often a simple inspection can reveal a variety of potentially dangerous symptoms of tree decay and condition.  No extra charge is made for applications to the local authority for the removal or maintenance of trees covered by Tree Preservation Orders or those that come under the scope of Conservation Area status.

Confined area tree surgery

<<<

The removal of trees in confined areas is a highly skilled and potentially dangerous operation.  We undertake such tactics on a regular basis in order to stay sharp and confident to the task in hand.
An often underestimated aspect of tree surgery operations by our customers is the sheer mass and weight of tree material that has to be removed from site during and after trees are cut.

The removed limbs are carefully lowered to the ground using a rope and attended by a groundsman.  The tree material is then fed into a chipping machine and reduced to mulch.  Bigger pieces are cut using chainsaws, loaded on to vehicles and removed from site. Often our customers request to keep some mulch and firewood, which we are happy to oblige.
